Busy Fit Warrior Foundation is proud to recognize Unknown Cafe as a partner in the Philippines. Co-owned by BFW director Mark Topacio and his wife Joma Topacio — Joma runs the day-to-day. Unknown Cafe brings together thoughtful coffee craft and the kind of community connection that sits at the heart of our mission.
Our home base at 6771 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego — a private members-only veterans lounge built around ukuleles and Isla’s Coffee, roasted by Montague Brothers. Catch the coffee at public pop-ups around town.

Our roaster — a Marine veteran Alvin met at the MCAS Miramar gate — roasts every bean behind Isla’s Coffee. He hosts live music nights at his shop, home of future BFW veteran ukulele nights and the Play It Forward coffee board.
